EMERITI CLUB COMPLETION SCHOLARSHIP

Members of the University of Utah Professors Emeriti Club are joining together to raise funds in support of undergraduate students striving to finish their bachelors degrees. The Professors Emeriti Club Completion Scholarship will be awarded to students who are within twelve credits of completing their undergraduate degree who may be facing financial challenges.
 
Completion Scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,000 and support the University’s efforts to increase student retention and completion. The Professors Emeriti Club Completion Scholarship will be available to students from any major and will be awarded beginning Fall 2023. Please consider donating to the Emeriti Club Completion Scholarship Fund. PIONEER MEMORIAL THEATRE PREVIEW PERFORMANCES

Emeriti Club members are invited to attend preview performances which take place Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Preview night tickets will become available at 10 a.m. at the Pioneer Theatre Company Box Office located at 300 1400 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84112 on the dates below:

  • Jersey Boys: Ticket pickup begins August 26 at 10 am | Preview performance on September 12 7:30 pm
  • Prayer for the French Republic: Ticket pickup begins October 7 at 10 am | Preview performance on October 24 7:30 am
  • Souvenir: Ticket pickup begins November 18 at 10 am | Preview performance on December 5 7:30 pm
  • Dial M for Murder: Ticket pickup begins December 16 at 10 am | Preview performance on January 9 7:30 pm
  • Beautiful: The Carol King Musical: Ticket pickup begins January 27 at 10 am | Preview performance on February 13 7:30 pm

EMERITI CLUB ANNUAL DONATION REPORT

We have obtained updated calculations on Emeritus donations to the University of Utah. Between 2020 and 2024, emeriti committed $26,995,005, while $14,291,292 was actually received by the U. When tabulated from the earliest records, in total, emeriti have committed $83,820,445 and the U has received $65,879,150. Emeriti continue as integral members of the University community, long after their retirement.
